    Tdi beachhunter GB/depth question.

Would like to hear from other users of the Tdi beachhunter their opinions on depth.
Ive had mine since September and love itís stability after the dual field and have had some nice deep rings.
I cannot decide whether itís deeper on the wet sand with GB on or off. It appears to airtest deeper with it off, but rather than burying stuff on the beach to test, I thought Iíd be lazy and ask what other users have found.
    Thanks in advance.

I haven't had one to the beach, so no help here. However, "technically", it should be deeper with the GB ON.
If there's anything I hate worse than diggin' pulltabs, its missin' a gold ring.

Thanks for the reply, I was under the impression that as it was basically an SL in a waterproof case that it would be deeper with it on, when I’ve used it with GB off as a straight pi and checked faint targets with it on, I’ve not noticed any difference.

I’ve had my TdiBH for 5 months and can, with hand on heart say...
on my beaches here in North Devon, UK the machine gives louder and clearer responses on whisper targets with GB on.
That said, the sand is so benign here that ground balancing is not needed, I use it just clicked on.
