    Surf's Up!

The forecast this week was for high surf (that's my siren song to get down to the beach). It paid off with a necklace and link key-chain? I had to pinpoint and scoop fast between the breakers (6-12 feet high); then run back to shore with the sandpipers! The necklace looks recently lost and in perfect shape (got lucky I didn't break it since it was hanging over the front of my scoop). We have 4 storms in the forecast this week so I'll try to get out again next weekend.Click image for larger version.

Great hits on the gold. I chuckled to myself with your comment "hurry back up like the sandpipers". I seen myself scurrying up out of the way of the waves lol.

Those are some nice finds, especially the necklace. That sounds like some strange kind of detecting - detect, dig like heck-then run for your life so you don't get swept out to sea. MD takes all kinds I guess. LTD

Nice job. A little cold for me on the coastal waters right now. Reading and mid afternoon hunts for me, lol
