ID:	112485 Got out Friday, the day after our first big storm of the season. I started working my way to the high tide line and a city garbage truck pulls up. He proceeds to tell me about an excavation of an old beach club they did early in the year. Later research shows it opened in 1927 and burned down in 1965. He pointed to the area where the material was dumped and said another dectectorist had found some old coins previously. The storm washout had spread out the piles and thats where I found the silver coins! That garbage man now has the title of Sanitation Engineer! The dates on the quarters are 1941, 1943-S; dimes 1944-S, 1952-D. I log all of my hunts so you can see the rest of the haul. At the end of the year I'll tabulate and post the year totals and lifetime totals. I have about 20 of these sheets full with past hunts; just started a new one. Not too much in the surf this time but I'll be back after the next big storm ( one is forcast for Wednesday).

Good for you and your tip from the sanitation engineer. Looks like a spot with more potential, and you've already got some nice finds. LTD
