    Fire at White's Electronics!

On Sunday, April 22nd there was a small fire at White's Electronics, Inc. The pump house was the only building effected, but this means that the plant will be without water for a few days. Due to not having water (and therefore no bathrooms, coffee, or eye wash stations) we have told our employees to take a few days to enjoy the spring weather.

The factory will be closed Monday and Tuesday, April 23rd-24th, while we work on plumbing and rebuilding the pump house. Thanks for your patience!

I'm glad it was what it was and did not affect the main plant. Wendall August Forge was not so lucky a few years back. Hope it takes a few days more to get the facilities back up so your employees get a few days of detecting in.

We are back at full capacity. Felt good swinging a sledgehammer to help demo the building. Many thanks to Jones Well Drilling for getting our plumbing sorted out!

I knew White's products were hot but that's ridiculous.

    Glad the damage was "limited".

Wow, someone knows Wendell August Forge! I Have worked there 27 years now, I will never forget the day of the fire, it was a Saturday, I was at my Dads MDing when I got the phone calls, when I got there the place was to the ground. All you can think of is, there went my job, now what am I going to do! But we had enough equipment stored off site to set up in a temporary shop and continue, I never missed a days work over it.
We have since rebuilt a new factory and we are quite busy now.

My girlfriend used to live in Grove City. We visited the forge often. I am into antiques and still find vintage WAF pieces for her. The fire alerted the antique world and prices for his original pieces has soared. Nice to see for aluminum wares as he made some fine and well made items. We were pleased they rebuilt. Too bad about the bird.
