    Thumbs up Detector Stand

    I added the “Detector Stand” to my V3i today. What a great little piece of aluminum to add to your machine to lift it an inch more off the ground. I know that doesn’t sound like much but it really could keep it off a wet ground better.

    Normally you’d reuse the rubber feet from your detector. Me, I drilled three holes in it to mount permanently secured rubber feet to the stand with stainless steel hardware. Yes, they’re white but Ace Hardware didn’t have black ones for some odd reason. I can order some from the net if I can’t get use to the white. “I’m sure they will show the dirt.”

    I have 'em on all detectors that'll fit !!
    If there's anything I hate worse than diggin' pulltabs, its missin' a gold ring.

    I took a chance on it fitting my V3i. The website didn’t say it fits the V3i. I think the webmaster needs to add the V3i to the list.

    Been using those for years....

    That's a great setup you put together with the rubber bumpers. Aircraft lock nuts? Here is what I've been using (but will look into your setup - more permanent:

    one of the reasons i bought the sport. even with a stand mine would end up in the mud or water eventually
