    New Gmt

    I bit the bullet, where should I look for gold, I've been panning the creek with luck just finding flour gold where would my gmt be best used. hatchers pass Alaska ?

    My friend had a gold mine in the Brooks Range back in the day. I made him a belt buckle with the nuggets.

    Wow, that could be a tough question to answer. I’d say look where there’s quartz, black sand, and maybe some mica. Not all these contain gold all the time so finding it is the trick. There’s hundreds of old closed down mining operations near you. Try the piles of quartz near the shafts. Sometimes they missed a little back in the day.

    I found some and hour sand a half south of anchorage
