    TRX & Water

The White's web site clearly states that the TRX is waterproof to 10 ft., that's why I bought it. Threads on this forum are saying that it's not. So.........which is it?

Joe: While testing a couple of pre-release units, I sunk mine in a bucket of water for about 10 minutes. Took it out and it worked fine.

Some folks (I believe) were over-tightening the battery compartment cap, crushing the gasket and thus disrupting the watertight integrity. I have two TRX units and they have seen some hard use. I have had zero issues with either ....

Finally, if Whites says their product is waterproof and it leaks, they will make it right.

    Hope this is helpful.
