    M6 discontinued?

I have been 'out of the loop' and started to get back 'into the swing' and noticed the M6 is no longer listed on the Whites website. Did it get replaced by the MXSport?

White's is continuing to build the M6 by special order, so long as demand remains reasonable. However, no advertising.

Thanks for the info. I'm sure mine will last for many more years. I just hate to see the traditional metal-box look go away.

Me too. The metal box is super-tough and exudes quality manufacturing. All the other manufacturers have gone to flimsy plastic housing that creak when you swing them and break when dropped. The metal is a little heavier, yes, but it's not always about weight. Durability and quality is most important.

When I see the box, it just screams White's. It would be nice to see it continued but waterproof. I get worried when I keep setting it down on the dewy grass in the mornings and the box is drenched wet. It hasn't harmed it yet though.

All of my whites detectors with the "SL" Box had the GMT stand (I installed) which works Great ! I had an M6 for friends who wanted to detect with me. When I used it, it bothered me on how many targets I missed because of no threshold. I have been a hard headed MXT fan for many many years . There is a MXS (sport) in my future

Took my M6 out for a run yesterday, got an old bullet at about 7 inches. Its part of my arsenal and I like it a lot.

We put the M6 back in the lineup at a reduced price while we work on some... things.
