Hi any British (beach) XLT users here

    Hi,

I recently discovered my old metal detectors (Laser B3 and Whites XLT). I used to go detecting before 2000 but stopped due to a number of reasons.

Now that I have found my detectors again, I'd like to take my wife detecting especially beach detecting in the UK.

Could you tell me whether the XLT is suitable for wet sand or only just for dry sand?
Is the standard "Jewelry & Beach" program is good enough or whether there's a better custom program.

    Many thanks,

    Welcome to the forum.
I'm not sure how well the XLT works in salt. I'm sure someone will soon answer your question.
    Happy hunting to you both.
